School's History
Lakeside Academy Nursery and Primary was founded on the 29th of August, 2008 by Mrs Titilayo Adebiyi. Lakeside Academy commenced operations on 15th September, 2008 with 14 pupils; comprising of 9 boys and 5 girls.
On establishment the school was housed at Asheik Jarma Street, Jabi, Abuja. The school moved to its permanent site at plot 1176, Babafemi Ogundipe Boulevard, Cadastral Zone Bo3, Wuye, Abuja in August, 2017.
The school was dedicated and renamed KIA Lakeside Academy on Friday 1st December, 2017 in honour of Kumbi Irene Adebiyi.
A secondary section was added on 10th September, 2018 with four (4) students in year 8 (JSS2) and eight (8) students in year 7(JSS1). In the near future the secondary section will relocate to its own 21st century campus with boarding and day facilities.
